Challenge

CouponCommando.com—an online coupon and discount site offering deals for merchants such as Target, Smith+Noble, and Overstock.com—retained Jiva Creative to design and deploy a brand new company website. Not only was CouponCommando.com's existing site dated, but it also did not reflect the company's fresh new branding effort. Most importantly, the existing site consisted of lots of disparate pages that lacked automation and required a great deal of on-going maintenance and hand-coding.

Solution

Jiva Creative began by designing a fresh interface which reflected CouponCommando.com's new identity system. Once the look was in place, Jiva got to work building the site in a custom application framework. Jiva then developed a custom offer management system, allowing for the automatic pull of offers from affiliate services. Because CouponCommando.com had considerable equity in both organic and pay-per-click marketing, Jiva Creative implemented a targeted site migration plan to retain the benefit of all previous SEO efforts upon the launch of the new site.

Results

With the launch of the new CouponCommando.com the amount of maintenance time required by CouponCommando.com staff has been greatly reduced, allowing them more time to focus on new features and functionalities. Because most of the site is now automated, there is far greater accuracy in the listing offers, resulting in happier site users.
